Fashionably Speaking Fashion Club Program Overview
The Fashionably Speaking Fashion Club is an exclusive 8-week fashion enrichment experience designed for aspiring designers ages 6-14
This intimate program offers personalized, high-touch mentorship in a small group setting, where each student is guided through the full creative process—from concept to completion. Participants will learn professional sewing techniques, precise measurements, and garment construction while designing and creating their own custom pieces.
Beyond sewing, students are introduced to fashion branding & creative direction. We assist them developing both skill and vision. Each session is intentionally structured to cultivate confidence, discipline, and excellence.
The experience concludes with a fashion showcase, where students present their original designs—celebrating their growth, creativity, and craftsmanship.
Throughout the program, students will:
- Learn foundational and advanced sewing techniques
- Take accurate body measurements and understand garment fit
- Design and construct their own custom clothing pieces
- Explore fashion design concepts, including sketching and fabric selection
- Gain knowledge in branding, marketing, and building their own fashion identity
- Develop discipline, creativity, and leadership skills
- Work toward completing pieces to be featured in a fashion showcase
